- Stop being lazy and leave that couch alone– Fitness is the answer to staying healthy and the best way to say goodbye to major health issues that happen due to lack of it. According to sources, sitting and watching TV for 2 hours at a stretch can increase the rate of a heart attack. Why only TV, sitting in front of a computer will also harm you equally. I know our work doesn’t allow us or give us any other alternative to work with. But, it’s your duty to make a routine that will include 30 minutes of physical activity. Start walking or hitting the gym as soon as possible and live a stress-free and blissful life.
- Say ‘no’ to smoking– If you’re a smoker then it’s time you stop this habit right away. As per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, smoking increases the risk of developing a heart disease by two to four times. Smoking is not at all a good habit as it coats the arteries with tobacco that disrupts the functioning of the heart and causes serious problems. Now, I’m sure after knowing this you’ll stop it immediately.
- Munch what’s healthy and leave the rest aside– Don’t you feel whatever you eat has a direct impact on your body weight? Well, most of us prefer eating junk food than healthy food. But we forget that an increased level of fat intake not only increases the body weight but also raises the cholesterol level which leads to heart attack. So, balance your diet and concentrate on having more of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and less of carbohydrates and fats.
Apart from the above-mentioned factors, you need to manage stress, diabetes, high blood pressure and body weight to do away with heart diseases or heart attack. So, from when are you starting a fit lifestyle? Stop looking for an excuse and start living a healthy, balanced and happy life!
